Many cinematic scenes happened for Udta Punjab movie even before the release itself. Udta Punjab appeared before Censor Board and to the shock of life, Censor board gave many cuts to the film and stated to remove punjab from the film title. Does this make any sense peeps ? How can one remove the main name of the film ” Punjab” . Infact Whole of the film is based on Drug addiction in Punjab. Vexed with the Censor Board, Udta Punjab film unit approached Bombay High court.

You know what, the result is very much in favour for Udta Punjab film and Mumbai High court cleared the film with just one cut where shahid kapoor is seen urinating. Apart from that all scenes were cleared compared to 13 cuts done by Censor Board placing it under A Certificate.
