Nithya Menen is one of the best actresses in Tollywood. She immediately agreed to act in Okka Ammayi Thappa after listening to the story. Nithya Menen wanted this film to set a benchmark in story telling in tollywood. Okka Ammayi Thappa is the story of a life incident which happened to the director a few years ago while he was struck in a 2-hour traffic jam. Hence, the film shooting was done on Gachibowli flyover for five days and remaining shooting was done on a set resembling the stadium. Which was a great challenge says Sundeep
Okka ammayi thappa review is a love track mixed with crime angle. No excitement can be seen in first half or in the second half.Only little bit of thrill can be seen at the end when hero and villain face each other. Everything else is just predictable like terrorist demanding to release other terrorist. Okka ammayi thappa falters big time.
