Vikram is the perfect lead star to do these genre films. In this film, vikram will be seen in two different get-ups. As we all know in every film he will do at least three getups in different getups. In this film, he is doing only different roles in different get ups. Iru Mugan is also made in same Vikram style. The film has so many interesting and thrilling points to watch.

Iru Mugan Complete Review From Critics: 

Iru Mugan is a drastic outcome from Vikram and Anand Shankar. We have expected so much from the film, but the makers highly disappointed us with the story! Vikram who always makes movies on similar genre films again did a mistake of choosing Routine story which has nothing new in it. After watching the film, we are not at all satisfied with the story , screenplay of the movie. We have expected a lot more from this film, though in some specific scenes film has interesting scenes, but in most of the cases film failed in connecting with the audience, failed in impressing the Audience. If the director and Vikram want to make it better they could have made it better. But they ain’t do that.

In my perspective, all the efforts, hard work of Chiyan Vikram again got wasted. As we all know that Vikram is a hard worker and passionate Actor, who is always willing to do anything for his role in the film. He did his best with two getups in the film Iru Mugan. Let me be specific with the story of the film, later you can decide whether is a great film or moderate film. In my view I’m not extremely satisfied with the story of the film, Vikram might have chosen some different story.

Vikram two roles in the film are Love (Negative Role) and Akhiln  (Hero). Akhiln is an Ex- RAW Agent. Love kills Akhiln Wife Meera (Nayanthara) and He attacks Indian Embassy in Malaysia. To stop the evil actions of Love, India RAW Chief Nassar sends Akhiln the Ex-Raw agent to Malaysia along with Ayushi aka Nithya Menon. The film is a simple concept, how hero takes revenge for killing his wife, and for making damage to countries property. How Akhiln reaches Love and Surrenders him to the Indian Police is what you see in the film. Absolutely Nothing new in the story of the film.

Though the film had decent scenes, some interesting scenes, songs, locations and few other minor things are great. Mainly Story of the film affected the film. Today’s generation audience don’t like to watch the same sort of film. They expect something new from every film. Iru Mugan film failed in bringing that Something New! Film has impressive First half followed by Average second half. In any case, if you like watching Action thriller films then you are recommended to watch this film else you can Avoid it
